Not much has been said about blackface or the Asian-mockery video, but there is a lot of info on the homophobic slurs.
In her apology she describes how adult lesbians were sexually harassing her on formspring, sending her very graphic material and at one point even hinted they were stalking her. Because of this supposed experience, all lesbians were bad, “similar to how when a girl is left traumatized by a man, she thinks all men are bad”. She says the series of videos were simply of her venting after the ordeal.
There are two things that contradict this.
#1 Dakota’s formspring account was formspring.me/dakotarose
The account only contained Q&A’s about personal beauty tips and rude jokes. Aside from the one question where someone asked “are you straight?” there were NO questions from lesbians, or anything that suggested a sexual element.
The account sat there until late 2011, when the above screenshots were complied and uploaded to photobucket. Within 3 days the pictures were copyrighted and removed from Photobucket and the same day she disabled her formspring account. Now the question is – All it took for her to disable the account was for someone to call her homophobic. So why didn’t she deleted it when she was being pursed by lesbians? That doesn’t make sense.
#2 When a youtuber who was uploading the videos to youtube posted a question on Google+ of how to stop her family from wrongfully deleting the videos, Dakota’s father answered her. In his reply he said the videos weren’t real, but that Dakota was acting out a character from her “weekly comedy show” and that “jokes are offensive, if you can’t laugh don’t watch”.

That’s contradicting. While Dakota says the slurs were real, that it was her venting out because of a serious ordeal, her dad says she was just playing a character and making “jokes”.
Unfortunately this is all the recorded evidence there is, but there have definitely been more times when such slurs were repeated, sometimes in live video chatrooms at real people.

She already explained on her blog she didn’t mean what she said, she was actually provoked on saying stuff like that. Some ppl say things they don’t mean when they get really angry, upset, hurt or very very provoked!

Btw, in my honest opinion, there is no such thing as “homophobia” You are either tolerant or you’re not, and if you’re not, I’m not going to sugar coat it, then you’re just an asshole. And that goes out to the Nazi queen too( ya you Lera). I may be an asshole, but I save it exclusively for idiots, like racists and homophobs. The only thing intolerable is stupidity.

I’ve omitted my name from this one because i have been asked to. I showed my boyfriend of many years the whole situation with kiki and dakota, and he was shocked, because he was a close personal friend of Danny Cespedes, Kiki’s old boyfriend. He only has very nice things to say about him and his mother, and even feels horribly about the little things like how he used to make fun of Danny when he changed his hair to look more like Kiki’s “scene” hair. Danny used to hang out with my boyfriend and his band and my they would like to make a public statement about him but are scared of the girls’ parents harassing the band or doing something bad to them. I personally never knew him, but the article on Rolling Stone that makes Kiki look like an angel is ridiculous and insulting… that’s all for now!
Her comment about God was so uncalled for. We know where her afterlife will be…in total misery. But she and valeria appear to have the same thoughts and opinions…so
Do you have anything to say that is not you condemning someone on behalf of God? Cause truth be told it is getting really boring. I agree her comments were blasphemous, but your constant judgement makes you just as sinful and equally as stupid. Just saying, the whole god thing, give it a rest.
