Psychologist’s Opinion on Valeria’s Phenomenon

This is a Special Form of Narcissism

- What you’re describing is actually a relatively new phenomenon – suggests psychologist Maria Chizhova. This doesn’t just apply to this concrete girl, it’s applied to this generation in general. With the development of digital technologies and new forms of communication, more and more people develop their own “virtual world”, a world of dreams and fantasies which replaces their real one. I know what a sensation Valeria has created on the Internet, I’ve done a lot of reading on her, including the things she is currently writing about herself. I was surprised to learn that she really believes in these, to put it bluntly, lies that she has written about herself.
To me, it looks like a exaggerated form of narcissism in combination with BDD (when someone with a normal appearance does not like the way they look and they try to change themselves in every way possible.) In her case, she can change her appearance without doing too much harm to her body – with the use of an image editor. She doesn’t appear in public streets, not because she is afraid of being exposed, but because she is living in her own virtual world. In her world, she is a goddess with tens of thousands of worshipful fans. I think that in the next few years, if she stays as she is, she will gain more and more fame, which is quite frankly scary to me.

she is nothing, all the girls are the most beautifull with photoshop, yesterday I was trying to make a version of lera on myself, and I was following the standards that her uses, the result?

It is scary. At the same time, I am legitimately worried for her that she will get very sick and refuse help and/or die. I do have sympathy for those who seriously need it. The fact that she uses “woman” as an insult still makes me laugh. I am 5 years younger than her and I’m like, “Thank you. Most 22 year olds would love to be considered a full grown adult woman…..”

she looks really old for her age…. poor girl…

Seems like a very accurate evaluation of Val. It is very sad the world she lives in and perpetuates. As interesting as it is to follow and comment about Val, it is statements like the pyschologist’s that remind me that she has some very real internal struggles. She must feel so alone. I actually feel very sorry for her as disgusting as she is.
